To gain a Cursed Seal you must be either registered with one (Difficult) or be assaulted by a high-ranked Ninja who is capable of giving this seal(Much easier). In order to actually have the cursed seal, a character on this site must have created the Cursed Seal. Due to plot reasons, Orochimaru does not exist and therefore requires an IC member to create said cursed seal. No cursed seal applications until the one who actually grants the seal has been established. To create the cursed seal itself, your character must be no lower than A rank (Jounin) and have Fuuinjutsu as an Absolute Specialty.
In order to apply for the Cursed Seal Technique, one must create an S ranked jutsu which describes the effects of this Cursed Seal and how it is spread. All cursed seals must be unique, and must be S-rank Fuuinjutsu. Cursed seal techniques are limited to one per person; and may infect any number of people. Should the person who created the cursed seal die, they may attempt to take over another infected member's body. If they succeed, it counts as a death to the character, and the character is basically stolen, although personality, combat style, jutsu, etc. are all lost; Bloodline traits such as Kekkei Genkai and Doujutsu are retained with the body, and only the body (Therefore, switching bodies will remove the Kekkei Genkai or Doujutsu). Also, when attempting to take over a body; your character becomes materialized with half of their chakra reserves and must combat the character you wish to possess. Should your character win, they get the body. Should they lose, you may try again with another host, but cannot try again with the same. The host also retains the chakra boost and other abilities, but the cursed seal is much easier to remove.
There are a few limitations all cursed seals must contain:
1. They require some form of physical contact to implant.
2. They all have a small success rate. Shouldn't be used on Genin or Chuunin at all, and the staff will decide if the character deserves to survive the cursed seal implant.
3. Must define what the 2 forms of transformation are. The cursed seal may have different variations which grant slightly different effects, but still retain the basic principle. ie. one can give the user spider like arms, while another can give them hand-wing-things, but the same general idea of 2 stage seal that grants some chakra and the first stage being the same.
4. Must describe the look of the seal.
5. All sub-forms of the curse seal must be defined, and the appropriate seal explained when implanted on a target.
6. Target must be either greatly weaker than your character (At least a 2 rank difference), or must be in a critical condition (Chakra less than 10) to be infected. It's possible to do it earlier, but because it requires 1 post of solid contact to infect, it may prove difficult on a resistant target.
7. Cursed Seals consume 40 chakra to implant, and the infected target cannot regenerate chakra during that topic.
A cursed target may train their seal in the following methods:
To gain the first stage of cursed seal it must be activated while the user is expressing a negative emotion such as anger or sorrow. To gain the second stage, you must activate Stage 1 ten times successfully. After activating it ten times, you may use Stage 1 freely without having to be angry or sad. After ten though, the cursed seal will activate on its own when near-death. To gain Stage 2, you must link all 10 of your different topic RPs where you activated the cursed seal and reply here. You must be approved here before actually using your second stage.
Once you get Stage two, you must write at least 400 words in multiple training posts of how you mastered the cursed seal Stage 2 before you can actually master it. Title of topic must have 'Cursed Seal' In it to qualify as cursed seal training. You may ask for an NPC in the NPC Selection area if necessary.
