Chakra System Empty

The chakra system is a very easy system designed to keep the Naruto RP fair. As seen in the Anime and even Manga, everyone can eventually run out of chakra; but in RP, people generally forget this and end up fighting for far too long without exhaustion. This is usually because they compare their characters to the protagonists and antagonists, who almost always have an absurdly large sum of chakra. To avoid people power-playing, this system will elaborate how chakra functions.

From now on, every technique, weapon, summon, etc. will require a field that states how much chakra it consumes from use. There will also be two variables for chakra. One is the instant use variable and the other is the consumption over time variable. Both are required for ALL jutsu except summoning jutsu.

Instant Use Techniques
This field covers basic jutsu. This is how much chakra it requires to begin this technique. All jutsu have this field, as it always costs a bit more chakra to begin a technique than it does to use it over time. So hypothetically if you were to use a fireball jutsu, it would cost 15 chakra up front to use the technique for that post. If you wanted to continue the fireball after your initial post, you have to pay a Consumption Over Time fee; as seen below.

Consumption Over Time
Pretty self explanatory. Applies mainly for supplementary techniques and techniques that last for an extended period of time, but also works for jutsu that are instant use too. Things like most Medical Ninjutsu, "buffs" and Genjutsu usually require this unit. When filling in the field, one must state how much chakra the technique consumes per POST. This is usually related to 1/3 of how much chakra is required for an instant use, rounded up (Does not have to be 1/3, but cannot be any less than 1/4). So for instance; that same fireball jutsu is dragged on for another post. That means you must pay an additional fee of 15 * 1/3, which is 5. So for every one of YOUR posts that this jutsu is dragged on for, you must pay an additional 5 chakra. So if you use it for two turns, it costs 20 chakra as opposed to 15. This field is written as "Xp" where X is the amount and 'p' indicates that it's over-time.

With those two fields above; the correct way to fill in the chakra field for a fireball jutsu would be "15; 5p". 15 is the cost to first use the jutsu, and 5p relates to how much chakra per post to maintain. You do not have to fill in Consumption Over Time, but it will be assumed that it is 1/3 of your Instant use fee. Certain jutsu such as Genjutsu and Medical Ninjutsu require it; for almost all of them last for more than one post.

Examples stated above are not accurate and simply examples. Chakra consumption may be written in percentage if necessary.

Chakra in Ranks
Rank (The rank for which this limit applies)
Chakra: (How much chakra the rank grants by default)
Enhanced Chakra: (How much chakra the rank grants if character has "Above average chakra")
Limit: (Maximum amount allowed to be added to character of this rank via RP. For instance, training your chakra reserves will only fetch a maximum of this amount, and you cannot train for more.)
Level-Up: (How much chakra is gained when a lower rank grows into this rank. ie. Genin --> Chuunin, and the number by Level-Up on a Chuunin is the amount you gain; not Genin.)

Genin
Chakra: 50
Enhanced Chakra: 70
Limit: +30
Level-Up: N/A

Chuunin
Chakra: 90
Enhanced Chakra: 120
Limit: +30
Level-Up: +40

Special Jounin
Chakra: 130
Enhanced Chakra: 160
Limit: +40
Level-Up: +40

Special ANBU
Chakra: 150
Enhanced Chakra: 180
Limit: +20
Level-Up: +20

Jounin
Chakra: 170
Enhanced Chakra: 200
Limit: +40
Level-Up: +40

ANBU
Chakra: 190
Enhanced Chakra: 220
Limit: +20
Level-Up: +20

Sennin
Chakra: 210
Enhanced Chakra: 250
Limit: No Limit
Level-Up: +40

Kage
Chakra: 250
Enhanced Chakra: 290
Limit: No Limit
Level-Up: +40

Missing-Nin limits are equal to their official rank as such:
D Rank Missing Nin --> Genin
C Rank Missing Nin --> Chuunin
B Rank Missing Nin --> Special Jounin
A Rank Missing Nin --> Jounin
S Rank Missing Nin --> Sennin

When graduating from Genin to Chuunin, or Jounin/ANBU to Sennin/Kage; the character gains 10 extra chakra if they have advanced chakra reserves. Advanced chakra reserves are part of the "Asset/Deficiency" System, and therefore require a negative compliment.

Regulation
At the end of your post please state not only what jutsu your character has used in spoilers, but how much chakra your character has out of their maximum amount. All E rank jutsu costs 3 chakra. Jutsu and the like also have a limit toward how little consumption it must have. For example, it would be unfair if you could perform an A rank jutsu for only 10 chakra. Each technique must consume at least this minimum:

Ninjutsu
D Rank Jutsu --> 5 Chakra
C Rank Jutsu --> 8 Chakra
B Rank Jutsu --> 15 Chakra
A Rank Jutsu --> 25 Chakra
S Rank Jutsu --> 45 Chakra

Genjutsu (Note: Genjutsu are almost always 'over-time' techniques; and usually cost 1/2 the amount per post rather than 1/3)
D Rank Jutsu --> 3 Chakra
C Rank Jutsu --> 6 Chakra
B Rank Jutsu --> 12 Chakra
A Rank Jutsu --> 21 Chakra
S Rank Jutsu --> 32 Chakra

Taijutsu/Weaponry
D Rank Jutsu --> 2 Chakra
C Rank Jutsu --> 5 Chakra
B Rank Jutsu -->10 Chakra
A Rank Jutsu --> 18 Chakra
S rank Jutsu --> 32 Chakra

Note: The above is a minimum; which means the jutsu must cost that much AT LEAST. The average jutsu of such rank will usually cost more. The limit is only for weak techniques of that high rank. Taijutsu still requires chakra, as chakra = energy, and energy is required to perform backflips and punches.

Increasing Chakra Capacity
There are two ways to do this. Either by training for it or getting a Chakra Implant (Which requires surgery). You may train for Chakra up to the limit stated in your rank. If you graduated from a lower rank, the limit is compounded. Therefore if you were a Genin and didn't train any chakra, then became a Chuunin; you are allowed to train +30, +30 which is a max of 60 extra chakra. This is one of the benefits of starting early. Also, you may train for more chakra every time you age 1 year, but it costs 1 UP per chakra point, with a max of 10 extra chakra per year. So if you aged from 12 to 13, you can train up to 10 additional chakra, but if you didn't train any when you were 13 and simply went to age 14; you will not be compounded like the rank rule; and be limited to only +10 chakra, not +20. Therefore your age doesn't benefit your chakra gain.

Chakra Implant
When purchasing a chakra implant, the rules are as follows:
1. You may gain a chakra implant three times only to avoid drastic over-powering. Jinchuuriki may only gain a single chakra implant.
2. The first time you get a chakra implant, you may only gain +50 chakra. Requires a 4,000 word Surgery RP with a non-NPC medical ninja.
3. The second time you get a chakra implant you may gain +100 chakra, but if your character is below Jounin (A Rank) your character can only gain +50 until they rank-up to Jounin. Requires a 4,000 word Surgery RP with a non-NPC medical ninja.
4. The third chakra implant grants +100 chakra no matter what, but if the chakra implant RP is insufficient, your character will lose -50 chakra instead, so don't BS it. Requires 2x (8000) the amount of words for the Surgery RP compared to the other two. Still requires non-NPC medical ninja.
5. When getting a chakra implant, your character may not be in ANY RP topic at the time of surgery RP.

Chakra Training
Like everything else, you must train in order to gain extra chakra. It costs 500 words of training for every 2 chakra you wish to gain. To get chakra from aging, you need the necessary Upgrade Points. Remember, when training it requires 500 words of the actual training; not 500 words total. If you do 1000 words with the first 800 being only your character preparing to train; and the last 200 of it actually training, it will count as 200 words of training, not 1000.

The below lists how much of a boost each Jinchuuriki gets in chakra.

Ichibi +60
Nibi +70
Sanbi +80
Yonbi +90
Gobi +100
Rokubi +110
Shichibi +120
Hachibi +150 (x1.8 or +80% instead when using Bijuu chakra. Not applicable if they gain more chakra through default method.)
Kyuubi +180 (x2 or +100% instead when using Bijuu chakra. Not applicable if they gain more chakra through default method.)

Along with Bijuu, when a character signs up for a "spirit" they are given a small boost of chakra. If the spirit has a secondary ability, they gain +20 chakra for the spirit. If the spirit doesn't have a secondary ability and only grants the host chakra and some physical enhancement, the host gains +40 chakra.

If your character has a cursed seal, they also gain a chakra boost. The following elaborates how much chakra is gained with each stage.
Cursed Seal - If the user simply has the seal, they are granted +15 chakra.
Stage 1 - If the user activates the first stage of the seal, they gain +20 chakra on top of the original +15. Boost lasts until seal ends.
Stage 2 - If user activates the second stage of the seal, they gain +30 chakra on top of the +20 and +15. Boost lasts until seal ends.

Please note that you MUST have at least 5 chakra to remain alive, or 10 to function. If your character goes below 10, they become temporarily paralyzed, and if they go below 5, they will go into a mini-coma from lack of energy.
